00:00 · From worksheet to meeting
Organise a meeting from the template to the My Contacts Cloud calendar. We will prepare the details, add participants and review a time change using a verified fictional case. The app screenshots are in English, with English explanations.
00:19 · Make a working copy
Download the meetings and appointments CSV from Resources. It has sixteen columns and three fictional examples. Keep the original, make a copy and replace the examples. Each row describes a meeting, appointment or visit. The worksheet does not import events or synchronise calendars.
00:42 · Set the time and purpose
Note the title, start, end, location and purpose. The worksheet has a time zone column, but the event form we checked has no matching selector. Check the local time used by your environment before saving. This case does not cover time zone conversions or daylight saving changes.
01:05 · Prepare the event details
Check the start, end and All day option. Put the purpose and preparation in Description and check Location. The worksheet's Owner and Status fields help you organise the work; they do not assign an app user or automatically close the event.
01:24 · Add participants explicitly
Names typed in the worksheet do not link contacts to an event. Add them under Participants and check the selected record. The verified case includes Ana Núñez. Linking a participant does not send an external invitation. No messages were sent or video meeting created.
01:46 · Check the calendar
The original fictional meeting is on the twenty-ninth of October, twenty twenty-six, from ten to ten thirty. Review the calendar for possible clashes. This is a manual check; the example does not demonstrate automatic availability checking.
02:05 · Verify the saved change
The meeting was moved to the thirtieth of October, from eleven fifteen to twelve. Its date and time fields were changed and checked after reloading the app. Review both ends of the interval. Dragging and resizing the event were not tested.
02:24 · Keep documents in context
Check where you attach a supporting file. An event document does not automatically appear on each participant's contact record. The test used a text file and verified its location and download. It did not test editing Office documents.
02:43 · Separate plans from outcomes
After the meeting, record what happened as an interaction on the contact. Keep the event and, where needed, specify the next action and reminder. If you also maintain the CSV, update it manually. The worksheet and app do not synchronise.
03:04 · Prepare, link and check
The description links to the template, calendar guide and manual. Start with a simple meeting and check local time, participants and documents. For an online meeting, use an existing meeting or link and check its details before sharing it.
